REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2024 ANNUAL ALUMNI REUNION + EMERGING CHAPTER INSTALLATION!

It is with great excitement and pleasure that we kick off the planning for our annual event earlier than ever in anticipation of our biggest, most historic event in decades! Mark your calendars and register now because you won’t want to miss our weekend full of activities to celebrate our brotherhood this fall. This year’s event takes place Thursday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 8. That’s Penn State football’s home opener vs. Bowling Green.

We heard your feedback from last year’s event and are working to make even more improvements to an already action-packed, fun-filled weekend, including our signature tailgate event. Plus, we have even more to celebrate at this year’s event as we mark this year in history with the return of our active chapter to Penn State. It is with honor that we officially announce that the initiation ceremony and celebratory events for the young men pledging our emerging chapter to be welcomed as brothers to our fraternity will occur the same weekend, Friday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 8! All alumni and active chapter activities will coincide with one another so that we can unify our new brothers with our thriving alumni base.

You won’t want to miss all of the excitement happening this weekend. Secure your place in PA Theta and Penn State history by registering to attend this year’s events!

PRICING AND ITINERARY NOW AVAILABLE

Pricing

As always, the 240 North Burrowes Road Alumni Association is providing food, beverage, and all other festivities absolutely free to all alumni, emerging chapter students, and guests. A football weekend at Penn State is expensive. Three meals plus drinks for a family of four on a football weekend could cost you $550 alone and that doesn’t include lodging (rack rate for rooms at our preferred hotel this year was $599 per night + 11% tax) and transportation (six Ubers could cost in the range of $75-150, depending on surge pricing).

To stay with us at the Wyndham Garden Inn for 2 nights and attend all of our free events, you are getting $2,030 of value for $1,064. That’s half the price!
We understand that still may be a bit steep for some. We want as many people as possible to come, so guests are not obligated to stay at the Wyndham Garden with us. There are plenty of other lodging choices where brothers and their families can bunk up and split the cost of the weekend.

WE HAVE EVEN MORE TO CELEBRATE THAT WEEKEND: THE ACTIVE CHAPTER’S INITIATION!

Last summer, we announced that our active chapter of Phi Delta Theta was returning to Penn State. As of the writing of this email, the 71 Phikeia have been busy establishing a name for themselves on campus in Happy Valley!

It is with honor that we officially announce that the initiation ceremony and celebratory events for these young men to be welcomed as brothers to our fraternity will occur the same weekend, Friday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 8! All alumni and active chapter activities will coincide with one another so that we can unify our new brothers with our thriving alumni base.

Alongside Phi Delta Theta and Penn State, we cordially invite brothers from all generations to attend this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the continuation of PA Theta’s more than 100 years of history.

If you have any questions, want to share updates with us, or would like to contribute to our efforts, please don’t hesitate to reach out to news@pathetapsu.org.

If you’re not subscribed to our mailing list, please let us know by emailing us, too. That way, you’ll receive all of the latest updates coming from both our alumni base and our emerging active chapter!

We are looking forward to seeing you this fall, Thursday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 8, at Penn State!
