Golf Added to Itinerary, 50 Rooms Available, and Volunteers Needed for Phi Delta Theta 2nd Annual Reunion
Brothers who attended last year’s gathering can attest, we had a blast reconnecting old bonds and forming new ones across multiple generations at the 2021 alumni gathering. For those looking to experience that again, or for anyone who missed out and wants in on the fun, mark your calendar. This year’s reunion takes place for the second straight year on Sept. 9-11, 2022.
We have reserved 50 rooms this year at the beautiful Wyndham Garden State College, 310 Elks Club Rd, Boalsburg, PA 16827, an oasis surrounded by the gorgeous mountains of Central Pennsylvania.
We will release new information regarding the event every month, with the next update on reserving your room and registering for the event coming in mid May.
Additionally, we have added a golf outing to our itinerary, this year, which will take place on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. We are reserving eight tee times for 32 golfers. To get your name on the list early, please contact Frank Marcinek at marcinek@susqu.edu.
Finally, we are looking for more volunteers to help with the event. This is a massive undertaking for just a few brothers to help, so we are reaching out to our brotherhood for more assistance this year. See below for a list of volunteer responsibilities needed for the event and beyond:
- Football tickets – coordinate, pick up, and disburse tickets to brothers – Locals of State College Preferred
- Parking – coordinate, pick up, and disburse (3) parking passes – Locals of State College Preferred
- Greeters – help with welcoming brothers to the event, signing in, and directing traffic
- Bus coordinator – coordinate reserving (2) buses and direct traffic on the day of the tailgate
- Transportation – Jim Gajewski is heading this up, but will need one more volunteer to help
- Tailgate – Paul Wharton is heading this up but will need two more volunteers to help
Please reach out to Tim Wilkinson if you are interested in helping: timw8800@gmail.com.
